The minor requires one course from Chemistry 118B, 124B or 124C, which are shown in italics.

The sample schedule shows required courses taken as early in the program as possible. This permits the greatest flexibility in choosing optional chemistry electives and allows interested students to elect a full year of undergraduate research, CHE 199, in their senior year.

There are offset sequences of Chemistry 2ABC, Mathematics 16ABC and 21ABC, and Physics 7ABC that start in different quarters than shown above. For the upper division courses, the alternate sequence of Chemistry 118ABC starts in Winter. Chemistry 107A and 107B are also available in Summer Sessions I and II. Chemistry 105 is also offered in Fall, but it has 107AB as a prerequisite.

Students who wish to earn a Chemistry minor should consult with their major adviser in addition to the Chemistry Undergraduate Academic Adviser

A Petition to Declare a Minor must be filed in the College of your major when you file your application for graduation.
